What Is Earl & Ethel?

Earl & Ethel™ is a clean comedy show — a character-driven series featuring two straight-talking, porch-sitting characters who say exactly what’s on their mind. No profanity, no politics — just the kind of honest, relatable humor that reminds you of someone you love.

The show lives on YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram, where Earl and Ethel™ have built a community of folks who nod along, share clips with their families, and say “that’s my dad” or “that’s exactly my grandmother.” Catchphrases like GET OFF MY LAWN™ and YOU KNOW WHAT FRIES MY BACON™ have become the kind of thing people quote around the dinner table — from the Earl & Ethel comedy series.

Who Are Earl and Ethel?

Earl is the man on the porch. You know the one. He's been around long enough to have opinions about everything — the weather, the neighbors, the price of a cup of coffee, and whatever it is you young people are doing on your phones. He'll tell you exactly what burns his biscuits and what fries his bacon, whether you asked or not. Especially if you didn't ask.

Ethel is right there beside him. Sharp as a tack, warm as a biscuit fresh out of the oven, and not one bit interested in pretending otherwise. She's seen it all, raised a few of you, and she's earned every opinion she has.

Together, they've been sitting on that porch for as long as anyone can remember — and they're not going anywhere.

Our Story

Earl and Ethel didn't set out to start a gift company. They set out to entertain folks and remind them of the good old days — the kind of days when people sat on porches, said what they meant, and didn't need a screen to tell them how to feel.

Earl would do a bit about the neighbor's dog. Ethel would follow it up with something about the price of groceries. People laughed. People shared. People said "that's exactly my grandmother" or "that's my dad to a T." And somewhere along the way, a whole lot of people started nodding along, and the next thing you know, there were mugs involved.

They're based out of Acworth, Georgia, which Earl says is a perfectly fine place to live if you don't mind the traffic on 75. Ethel says it's lovely. Earl says Ethel is being generous.

Every product is made to order and shipped fresh. Earl doesn't know how that works. Ethel says it doesn't matter as long as it arrives on time.
